Please read the following carefully. By ticking the checkbox at checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined below.

1. HEALTH DISCLAIMER & CONTRAINDICATIONS

Breathwork is a powerful practice that may not be suitable for everyone. Please review the following carefully before booking.

Breathwork may not be suitable if you have:

  • Pregnancy

  • Detached retina

  • Glaucoma

  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • Cardiovascular disease (e.g. angina, prior heart attack or stroke)

  • Diagnosed aneurysm in the brain or abdomen

  • Uncontrolled thyroid conditions or diabetes

  • Asthma — if attending, please bring your inhaler

  • Epilepsy

  • Prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other psychiatric conditions

  • Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last 10 years

  • Any other medical, psychiatric, or physical condition that may impair your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release

This list is not exhaustive. If you have a condition not listed above, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified physician before participating in any Alpine Breath session.

2. WAIVER

By ticking the checkbox at checkout, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Alpine Breath sessions are not intended to replace any relationship you have with your medical doctor or primary health care provider.

  • Sessions are not intended to constitute medical advice or any substitution for professional medical care.

  • Sessions are not intended to be relied upon for prescriptions, recommendations, diagnosis, or treatment in relation to any health problem or disease.

  • It is your responsibility to consult a health professional regarding any physical, mental, or emotional condition that could interfere with your judgement or affect your health during or after any session.

  • Your participation is entirely at your own risk.

  • Testimonials or stories shared by others do not constitute a warranty, guarantee, or prediction regarding your own experience.

  • Alpine Breath makes no warranty or guarantee about any particular state of awareness or consciousness during or after any session.

  • Participation does not establish a client-practitioner relationship or any other therapeutic or professional relationship between you and the facilitator.

3. RELEASE & DISCHARGE

By ticking the checkbox at checkout, you, the participant (the Releasor/Attendee), agree to assume and accept full and complete responsibility for any known and unknown risks associated with your participation in any Alpine Breath session, including but not limited to physical injury, psychological or emotional effects, death, loss, or property damage.

You release and discharge BYES Venture Pty Ltd (trading as Alpine Breath) and its practitioners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, or liabilities whatsoever — known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, suspected or unsuspected — arising out of or related to any and all sessions.

4. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

The Alpine Breath website and all related content are provided for informational purposes only. BYES Venture Pty Ltd is not responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness, or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, nor for any errors or omissions in that information.

5. PAYMENT POLICY

Alpine Breath accepts payments via credit or debit card, processed securely through Stripe. For in-person sessions and events, payment may also be accepted via card reader or bank transfer by prior arrangement. Any additional service charges or fees associated with third-party payment methods are the sole responsibility of the customer.

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

Group Sessions

  • Cancellations must be made at least 5 hours before the scheduled session start time.

  • To cancel, use the link in your Acuity booking confirmation email.

  • Cancellations made at least 5 hours before the start time will receive a credit applied to your account.

  • Cancellations made within 5 hours of the start time, or no-shows, will forfeit the session with no credit applied.

1:1 Private Sessions

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session.

  • To cancel, use the link in your Acuity booking confirmation email.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, will result in the session being forfeited.

Workshops & Events

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the event.

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will receive a credit applied to your account.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the event will forfeit the ticket with no credit applied.

Exceptions

In the case of a medical emergency or extenuating circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. We handle these situations on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation by Alpine Breath

In the unlikely event that Alpine Breath needs to cancel or reschedule a session, you will be notified promptly and offered a reschedule, account credit, or refund.

7. REFUND POLICY

Alpine Breath is committed to providing high-quality, transformative experiences. We aim to be fair and transparent in how we handle refunds.

Sessions & Session Packs

  • All purchases are final. Refunds are not offered for change of mind or missed sessions.

  • Session credits are non-transferable and non-refundable, but may be extended in extenuating circumstances at our discretion.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled up to 5 hours before the start time via the link in your Acuity booking confirmation email. Cancellations within 5 hours are considered late and the session will be forfeited.

Workshops, Events & Retreats

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying us at least 24 hours before the event.

  • In exceptional circumstances, a credit toward a future event may be offered at our discretion.

Corporate & Private Bookings

  • A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date, with the remaining 50% due no later than 7 days before the session.

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance will forfeit the 50% deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the session will forfeit 100% of the total booking value.

8. GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase.

  • Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Any remaining credit after the expiry date is forfeited.

9. SESSION TIMES & PUNCTUALITY

  • Doors open 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

  • Sessions begin and end on time. Please arrive within the 10-minute window before your session starts.

  • Once a session has begun, doors are locked and late entry is not possible. Late arrivals will be considered a no-show and the session will be forfeited.

  • We understand that life doesn't always go to plan, however we are unable to hold the session start time for late arrivals.

  • To cancel a session, please use the link in your Acuity booking confirmation email.

10. FRAUDULENT CHARGEBACKS

Attendance at any Alpine Breath session or event constitutes acceptance of these terms. Any chargeback initiated for an attended service will be contested using attendance logs, check-in records, and booking confirmation data.

11. AGREEMENT

By ticking the checkbox at checkout, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these terms in full.

  • You agree to be bound by all policies set out in this document.

  • You are 18 years of age or older, or have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • This agreement is legally binding under Australian law.
